The Accounting & Office Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the mission of our nonprofit organization by ensuring smooth office operations while providing support to the accounting function.This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) with excellent benefits offered in a warm and supportive work environment. The ideal candidate is detail oriented reliable and proactive with a strong customer service mindset and a commitment to supporting both internal teams and the organization's broader mission.
Responsibilities include serving as the first point of contact for incoming phone calls mail packages visitors overseeing supplies ordering inventory coordinating equipment maintenance maintaining neat safe and compliant office common areas managing office calendar handling document scanning indexing filing preparing basic correspondence labels forms supporting adhoc projects entering invoices payments in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preparing deposit slips making bank deposits matching bills to purchase orders/receiving documents responding to vendor customer inquiries regarding invoices payments statements balances. Requirements include 2+ years experience in office administration basic bookkeeping/AP/AR proficiency with Microsoft 365 Outlook Excel Word Teams SharePoint/OneDrive for filing strong attention to detail accuracy professional communication skills customer service mindset ability to handle confidential information discretion follow internal controls handson experience accounting system preferred ability lift ~20 lbs occasionally prolonged periods computer routine filing scanning.
