    Experienced IP/Patent Paralegal:

    Nguyen Tarbet is an Intellectual Property (IP) Law Firm in Tucson, Arizona. We currently have an opening for a full-time position as an IP Paralegal. We're looking for a hard-working, talented, and intelligent individual who is willing to commit to a long-term relationship with our IP law firm.

    You'll be working in a friendly environment with a professional staff. This is a rare opportunity for a well-qualified candidate to join a dynamic and growing boutique law firm that offers career growth potential as the practice grows.

    Responsibilities:

    · Answer phone calls

    · Open new files, follow up on signed assignments and Power of Attorney documents for US, PCT, and foreign patent applications. Update IP charts for US, PCT, and foreign patent applications

    · Prepare and maintain IP docket and admin support for US, PCT, and foreign patent applications

    · Responsible for deadlines and filing for US, PCT, and foreign patent applications

    · Coordinate the filing of formality documents, including oaths/declarations, powers of attorney forms, assignments, information disclosure statements, and formal drawings, and patent applications with the US Patent Trademark Office (USPTO)

    · Communicate with the USPTO and foreign associates

    · Research and maintain working knowledge of US and foreign patent prosecution rules and procedures, navigate and utilize a plethora of patent related websites and databases

    · Work with various team members

    · Handle clients with excellent customer service

    Qualifications and Skills:

    · Bachelor's Degree, required

    · Minimum 2 years of prior patent experience required

    · Exceptional attention to details with accuracy skills

    · Ability to prioritize, organize, and handle deadlines in a fast-paced environment

    · Excellent written and oral communication skills

    · Outstanding customer service, written communication, and interpersonal skills

    · Ability to work independently and proactively, demonstrating a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills in a team atmosphere with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism

    · Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong judgment, initiative, integrity and be a dependable, highly motivated, team player

    · Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Business Suite
