    Position Overview: As a Virtual Intervention Specialist with ProCare Therapy, you'll have the opportunity to provide personalized support and interventions to students in Ohio from the comfort of your own home. This contract position offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to create individualized plans to meet the diverse needs of students. By utilizing teletherapy platforms, you'll engage students in meaningful sessions while making a positive impact on their academic and social-emotional growth.     Location: Remote (Ohio-based)

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct virtual assessments to identify students' strengths, needs, and areas for growth.
    • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies to support students' academic success.
    • Provide direct intervention services to students in areas such as reading, math, behavior management, and social skills development.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development and review of student goals and objectives.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, intervention services provided, and communication with stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or master's degree in Special Education, Education, or related field.
    • Valid Ohio state license or certification as an Intervention Specialist.
    • Previous experience working with students with diverse needs, preferably in a school or educational setting.
    • Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and team members.
    • Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and technology to deliver services remotely.
