- Review, document, and analyze existing business processes, workflows, and system functionality to identify improvement opportunities.
- Recommend process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.
- Assess policy or regulatory changes and advise on necessary system or process updates.
- Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
- Serve as a primary liaison for operational issues, communicating status updates, resolutions, and improvements.
- Manage and prioritize operational support requests, enhancement tickets, and project tasks using work management tools.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for development teams.
- Lead requirement-gathering sessions and provide guidance to business analysts and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor team members and coordinate efforts to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including process changes, decisions, and knowledge resources.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in business process reengineering or business process analysis.
- Experience working with grant management systems, government-funded programs, or comparable regulatory environments.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proven ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience working within cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with collaboration and project tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience leading or mentoring business analyst teams.
- Background supporting enterprise application modernization or process transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with government compliance processes, reporting standards, or grant distribution systems.
