Job Summary
This position assists with coordinating education events around the State of Missouri and serves as a backup to the front desk staff.The individual in this position reports directly to the education supervisor and indirectly to the chief communications officer. The member education coordinator assists with processing member enrollments for MOSERS educational seminars, sets up and maintains seminar details, runs benefit estimates, creates folder labels certificates and rosters enters attendance information after seminars serves as backup to front desk staff duties include scheduling appointments answering phone calls emails greeting visitors confirming seminar enrollments prepares member packets for seminars packs other needed material prepares location bids negotiates contracts schedules meeting rooms sleeping rooms confirms reservations verifies accuracy of invoices routes invoices maintains spreadsheet monitors enrollments makes recommendations identifies new seminar locations makes site visits submits direct-bill applications monitors inventory orders materials assists with planning biennial human resources conference obtains bids negotiates facility food beverage contracts organizes coordinates registration process hotel reservations prints conference materials participates meetings section staff MOSERS staff plans communication projects contributes ideas provides feedback stocks appropriate brochures pamphlets envelopes paper performs miscellaneous forms maintains regular reliable attendance lifts carries presentation material demonstrates integrity ethics extensive attention detail establishes maintains positive working relationships.
