    **Responsibilities**

    PURPOSE: Maintain a quality system geared toward customer satisfaction and company profitability.

    1. Maintain department in a cost-effective manner.

    2. Interface with other departments to assure both product quality and efficiencies of processes are maintained.

    3. Work with sales personnel to establish customer specifications and requirements.

    4. Purchase and maintain proper equipment to ensure an accurate measuring and testing system.

    5. Maintain a good quality system with an emphasis on quality improvement.

    6. Interface with customers to resolve quality issues and establish appropriate corrective action.

    7. Assist in team problem solving with statistical data and backup information as necessary.

    8. Maintain an effective defective material procedure with a timely disposition of all product.

    9. Oversee the vision inspection system and appropriate calibration of all test equipment.

    10. Knowledge of location of C-Pro in system and ISO procedures.

    11. Back Up to SQF Practitioner

    12. Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and Department of Health requirements.

    **Qualifications**

    1. Bachelors Degree preferred, Associates Degree required.

    2. Proven ability to lead employees in a positive manner.

    3. Minimum of five years quality experience.

    4. Working knowledge of C-Pro, Ignition, and team building.

    5. Ability to work in awkward positions

    6. Minimum lifting of 25 lbs.

    7. Ability to reach and lift 25 lbs. above shoulder height

    8. Ability to grasp and manipulate small objects with either hand

    9. Minimum corrected / uncorrected vision of 20/40
