    Title:
    Lab LeadDepartment: QualityReports to: Quality Manager

    Position Summary:
    The role of a Lab Supervisor is to coordinate all actions and activities for implementing and maintaining the Quality Lab

    Responsibilities:
    Operate and manage CMM programming, operations and reports.

    Create and implement new weld test on Instron machineRecord various quality data on to shared driveSchedule calibrations for all gauging items (instruments) in quality labBack up lab technician Gage R&R StudyRWT Microscope Skin WeakeningSkin and Foam Adhesions Test on Instron and ManualTensile Test in PAB Area/SlushOven TestShore A TestEnsure all Lab Test Requests are prioritized and completed in a timely manner.

    Document test results and communicate them with the test requestor.
    Establish Work Instructions for all laboratory equipment.
    Ensure the Lab Tech's performing the testing are qualified per the Polyvalence Chart.
    Evaluate the training effectiveness for each piece of equipment annually for all Lab Tech's.
    Train Lab Tech's on lab procedures and equipment to achieve 100% of Polyvalence Target.
    Manage team of Lab Tech's.
    Maintain color mastery library.
    Inspect pre-ship color plaques and send out results with approval/disapproval.
    Review production color concerns.
    Maintain AAR sample parts in a manner that they will not be damaged.
    Evaluate parts for submission to customer for color and gloss approval.
    Schedule and maintain calibration of equipment.
    Maintain customer specific requirements for products.
    Maintain Lab Tech back up personnel for vacation and absenteeism.
    Maintain 5S standards in the Quality Lab.
    Manage the evaluation of personal annually for color acuity.
    Assist Quality Team with any other specific projects.
    Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy.
    Conform to requirements established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions.
    Ensure members in assigned area(s) of responsibility conform to relevant HSE requirements.
    Support environmental programs to achieve objectives and targets.
    Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia's Code of Ethics and Code of Management.


    Minimum Qualifications:
    The ideal candidate will have the following education/experience:Minimum of two (2) years automotive/laboratory experience.
    Knowledge of products and process.
    Strong analytical and team-oriented problem-solving skills.
    Communication and interpersonal skills.
    Proficient level of English required.
    Score of 0-16 on the Munsell color acuity test taken annually.
