CHS Inc is looking for a hardworking individual to join our Animal Nutrition team in Corson SD as a Pellet Operator.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently may include sampling loosening large nuts opening hatches attaching or detaching flexible hoses loading unload inputs from trucks using heavy or light duty machinery equipment may include bulk packaged material control monitor all load out functions conduct properly record daily weekly monthly maintenance tasks including lubrication of pumps valves loading arms inspect in use equipment looking for seeps leaks process equipment monitor maintain quality of inventory may include blended bulk packaged product keep all work areas in clean orderly safe condition conduct regular housekeeping duties such as sweeping shoveling power washing scraping cleaning up spills complete appropriate record keeping perform general grounds duties as needed perform warehouse work including driving loader loading unloading inventory forklift operation general maintenance promptly report customer complaints repair maintenance needs safety concerns supervisor maintain promote strong safety culture follow all safety policies procedures regulations identify communicate workplace hazards correct seek assistance correcting unsafe actions conditions follow company policies procedures safety requirements perform other duties ensure facility operates smoothly customers receive excellent customer service
