    Description

    As a valuable member of our team, you will utilize your in-depth expertise to pinpoint operational issues through careful observation and analysis of system performance. You will investigate feedback from various sources, including process supervisors and operators, and carry out troubleshooting procedures.



    ROLE IMPACT
    The Support and Tools - Operations Engineering - Advisor position provides you with the freedom to shape each day while collaborating with dedicated colleagues. Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Identifying and managing operational priorities by evaluating objectives and coordinating teams effectively.
    • Creating operational solutions to tackle business challenges and guiding the team's technical direction.
    • Ensuring the successful implementation of business unit strategies by studying, evaluating, and proposing process improvements.
    • Utilizing advanced knowledge to inform design teams and promote innovation within the unit.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required Experience

    • Minimum of 6 years in software development
    • 4+ years of API Development experience
    • Over 4 years of AWS Engineering experience
    • 4+ years advising on Cloud strategy and modernization efforts
    • 4 years leading and mentoring junior engineers
    • Engagement with technical, business, and executive stakeholders
    • Handling incident response and maintenance processes

    Preferred Experience

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • AWS Certifications
    • Prior involvement in financial services

    Tools

    • Java, Python, JavaScript
    • Apigee
    • REST, SOAP, GraphpQL 
    • AWS Services
