The primary responsibility of the Landscape Maintenance Account Manager is to maintain and grow a consistent flow of profitable new and recurring landscape business to the Division, in accordance with the company's sales plan as well as to manage customer relationships within.
The Landscape Maintenance Account Manager is responsible for the productivity of direct report crews, generation and oversight of sales activities of the Division and for meeting and exceeding the expectations of each individual customer.
Must be skilled in managing people, equipment and operations in a residential and commercial landscape maintenance company. Driver's license required, Bi-lingual a plus.Responsibilities:
Develop, manage and retain Landscape Maintenance contracts and customer relations.
Supervise maintenance superintendents who manage crews & manage employee performance and production.
Ensure that employees are both results oriented and able to operate as a team.
Assist operations to schedule maintenance crews and routing for all maintenance projects.
Schedule and make regular visits to meet customers; review quality and production
Ensure that all jobs are completed according to contract and within budget.
Sales experience with focus on growing maintenance division.
Conduct site visits with clients and maintenance foremen when required.
Contact clients pre and post project.
Basic Qualifications:
Driver's license required.
Proficient with computer software programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
Plant and flower knowledge required.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Excel and Microsoft software knowledge recommended.
Knowledge of landscape design, maintenance and snow removal operations
Customer Service background
Strong work ethic
Eligibility Requirements:
Interested candidates must submit a resume online to be considered
Horticulture Degree or a minimum of 3 years industry experience
Pay based on experience and qualifications
Desired Characteristics:
Strongly prefer candidates who have Landscape Management experience working directly with field employees and clients.
Illinois Certified Pesticide Applicator License a plus
