Position and Company: GTRI's Advanced Warfighting Technologies Division (AWTD) in the Advanced Concepts Laboratory (ACL) is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer.

Project/Unit Description: AWTD focuses on research in counter-proliferation technologies, special operations enablers, and advanced ground maneuver concepts. ACL tailors solutions for national security challenges using physics-based modeling augmented with prototype development and testing.
Job Purpose: The Mechanical Engineer will research and develop cutting-edge mechanical and electro-mechanical systems for various applications including aerospace, transportation, military equipment, radar systems, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Education and Experience: Candidates need 5-18 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3-17 years with a Master's, or 0-14 years with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
US Citizenship Requirements: Candidates must be U.S. Citizens due to research contracts with the U.S. federal government.
Clearance Type: Candidates must qualify for an active security clearance.
