    Job Title : Clinical Quality Coordinator - LPN Job Summary :
    • The Clinic Quality Coord LPN functions under the direction of the Physician Group Quality Director as an integral part of the Quality Team. Coordinates various projects and meetings to enhance the effectiveness of the Quality Team. Assists with downloading and uploading data in various insurance portals as well as interpreting data in accordance with Meaningful Use and HLN standards.
    Experience, Education, Training, Special Skills, and Licensure :
    • 2 years experience in healthcare (with medical terminology background)
    • Proficiency in standard computer programs required (Microsoft Office) and must be familiar with relational databases, spreadsheet applications, PowerPoint, Publisher and Flowcharting
    • LPN
    Job Function :
    1. Technical Tasks
      1. Maintains work area in a neat, orderly and efficient manner.
      2. Maintains an efficient system for processing and organizing data
      3. Actively participates in meetings and committees and Quality Initiatives as directed.
      4. Prepares various documentation for meetings in a timely manner.
      5. Provides for scheduling of meeting activities to include member notification, room scheduling, provision of food and audio/video equipment as designated.
      6. Maintains proficiency in standard computer programs i.e. relational databases, spreadsheet applications, PowerPoint, Publisher and Flowcharting alone with any other programs required to completed daily activities.
      7. Assists with educational programs for staff.
    2. Critical Thinking
      1. Oversees and instructs the TCM process.
      2. Assists with Meaning Use, CMS, HEIDIS, Medicaid Audits, CCP and TCM reports including downloading and uploading information into various insurance portals
      3. Coordinates review process for the Quality and Compliance Committee. Provides data including graphs for the Quality and Compliance Committee to review for follow-up.
      4. Communicates effectively with staff, supervisors, managers, directors, administrators and providers to present a positive image of the Physician Group Quality Department.
      5. Consistently demonstrates the ability to assess situations, consider alternatives, and choose the appropriate course of action.
      6. Recommends and helps to develop new programs and systems applicable to the Quality Team.
      7. Assists in coordinating information relevant for the Quality Council/Committee and payors.
      8. Demonstrates a consistent level of performance and reports any problems with work flow to Director of Quality Initiatives. Strives to make good use of time, seeks out work that needs to be accomplished; uses time to departmental advantage.
      9. Demonstrates knowledge of departmental policies/standards and reinforces with applicable departments under the direction of the Quality Director and Meaningful Use Analyst.
      10. Assists with preparing and maintaining Meaning Use Scorecard data.
      11. Handles confidential information, prepares confidential correspondence and reports.
      12. Assists with coordinating special projects as they relate to initiatives directed by the Physician Quality Team.
    3. Other Duties
      1. Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
