Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm


SUMMARY:

Supports Business and Department Action Plan objectives, focusing on production support activities, scrap reduction, part quality improvements, and cost reductions.

Responsible for implementing new and revised product/processes, introducing new technologies, and providing technical support.
Promotes teamwork, safety, and quality service. Splitting time approximately 60% on the floor and 40% in the office.


FUNCTIONS:
Follows Company policies, Safety Rules and Regulations, and Quality Manual.
Troubleshoots and resolves machine and process problems to support production operations.
Develops and standardizes operations training.
Implements kaizen improvements and statistical methods for process variability.
Manages documentation and supports scrap reduction and cost reduction objectives.
Leads problem-solving activities and investigates cost reduction opportunities.
Applies Lean Manufacturing principles and collects engineering data for process improvement.
Selects tools, materials, and consumables for efficient manufacturing.
Works with vendors and supports plant activities for quality registrations.
Prepares capital requests and supports new product launches and technical problem-solving.
Specifies facility and process requirements to meet regulations.
May assist off shifts with processing problems and supports the Quality department.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or 10 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and interpreting product drawings.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Experience with PLC, HMI control systems, CNC machine tool programming, or Fanuc robot programming is a plus.
