    Job Summary

    In this key role, you will oversee the movement of materials through our production cycle, determining requirements from engineering and production schedules. You will coordinate with purchasing, production, and engineering to ensure efficient material movement.

    Responsibilities

    • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and efficiency.
    • Procurement: Assist with RFQ processes, competitive bidding, bid analysis, and supplier onboarding.
    • Collaboration: Work with internal business partners and suppliers to improve lead times, reduce supply chain risks, and deliver sustainable solutions.
    • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost improvement.
    • Accountability: Establish metrics to hold suppliers accountable for performance and delivery.
    • Logistics Support: Coordinate logistics support, including export permits and documentation.
    • Warehouse Operations: Oversee receiving, picking, inventory control, resupply, and shipping functions.
    • Inventory Management: Manage inventory, liaise with buyers, handle obsoletes, and scrap management.

    Requirements

    • Working knowledge of SAP.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Able to draft communications to large audiences and communicate effectively at an executive level.
    • Experience with vendor/supplier relationships, purchasing/buying, and data analysis.
