Job Summary

As a Produce Associate at Food City, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and experience the freshest products. Your positive attitude, teamwork, and flexibility will create a welcoming atmosphere, making our store the best in town.

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of customer service, greeting and assisting customers with a smile.
• Work closely with the Produce Manager to ensure efficient ordering, receiving, and displaying of all produce items.
• Rotate merchandise regularly to guarantee freshness and quality.
• Setup and maintain cut vegetable and fruit sections, trim corn, and package salad tomatoes as directed.
• Ensure adherence to food safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Order supplies as needed and assist in training new associates.
• Monitor the quality and freshness of all fresh pack products daily.
• Enforce company food safety protocols and maintain a clean and sanitized department.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
