    As a member of the NA Marketing Science team, you'll be part of the broader RSD NA Marketing team.

Our team's solutions are developed in collaboration with key counterparts in Sales, Finance, Corporate Strategy, Portfolio Management and Marketing. We are looking for a Data Analyst III to make a difference and join our team

    Location: 300 Industry Drive, Pittsburgh, PA - Remote

    How will you make an impact?

    This individual is responsible for the development and automation of commercial support, digital growth, and product conversion tools/capabilities.

    This individual will also lead advanced and innovative solutions in driving revenue for the business in collaboration with our key partners.

    This individual collaborates optimally across the marketing organization and with partners across the business, especially Sales, PM, Finance, and Data Science.

    Additionally, they will develop self-service reporting mechanisms for both internal and external partners, measure effectiveness of tools by defining and delivering critical metrics on a regular cadence and accelerate data-led decision making by crafting a consistent measurement approach improving customer experience and driving accountability.


    A Day in the Life:
    Retrieve, consolidate, analyze, and summarize data from very large data sets using SQL, Python, Databricks, and/or Alteryx.

    Perform ad hoc data analysis and support the development and refinement of tools, policies, and procedures that improve existing performance for functional groups within RSD.

    Demonstrate strategic and thought leadership in developing new quantitative models using statistical techniques.
    Drive initiatives to achieve growth within assigned areas of responsibility and across the company.

    Develop tools and models in SQL, Python, PBI, and/or Power Automate to help business, specifically as it relates to product conversion capabilities.

    Analyze transactional data to identify trends by customer segment, supplier, product category, and other dimensions.
    Use multiple data sources to build and present dashboards and conduct ad hoc deep dives as required.
    Be a strong strategic business partner and proactively create solutions as opportunities are identified.


    Required Qualifications:
    BA or BS in related field (Data Science, Economics, MIS, Statistics, Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Business)
    3+ years of analytics experience in a B2B setting.
    3+ years of experience in preparing data and crafting data visualizations (Power BI preferred or Tableau) and/or Alteryx.
    Proficiency in Python and/or demonstrated ability writing queries and running reports in SQL.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Microsoft Office skills; extremely proficient with Excel

    Able to validate and synthesize data from a variety of sources including customers, competitors, and external agencies to discern trends and distill into meaningful insights.

    Strong aptitude for math and numerical estimation
    Outstanding verbal/written communication, listening, and presentation skills.
