Job DescriptionObjective of Position:
This position is responsible to contribute to the improvement of the safety, quality, delivery, and cost of the operation through applying engineering principles and lean manufacturing principles

Principal Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:1.

Analyze and evaluate manufacturing processes, systems, equipment, and materials in terms of their associated cost, time, safety, ergonomic, and quality and recommend solutions to improve.2.

Analysis of time studies, methods, process engineering, and plant layout to ensure balanced processes and implement process improvements for all gaps identified.3.

Troubleshooting and problem solving of production issues as they relate to the Manufacturing Engineering Department.4. Participate in kaizen events for continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.5. Assist in the implementation of engineering changes to the product throughout the factory processes.6.

Design and coordinate the build of tools and fixtures to assist in the welding processes to improve efficiency and quality.
