America Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in any Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste management space.

We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management.

Our founders are hardcore telecommunications engineers with combined 200 + years of experience in designing, optimizing and performance engineering; for several mid – large wireless carriers internationally - that saw a need to provide low power, cost efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict needed actions.

We have combined these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to provide clients various options to decrease re-occurring costs associated with operating an IoT network of sensors and connected devices.

We specialize in design, deployment, optimization, and support of these Networks.

Job Description

Location:
Warren, NJ

The candidate is responsible for Android framework development for Verizon in-house projects. The candidate must have depth knowledge of Android APK development. Responsible for leading project module individually with-in a team. Good communication skills and team player are the responsibilities for the proposed position.

Education Qualification:
Bachelors in Engineer (CS, EE)

Experience : 6 years

Job description:

Must have hands on experience on Android app development with library integration knowledge
Must have worked on JNI/NDK/native level work
Good understanding of mobile and web server communication(REST API web services, XML parsing and JASON)
Good understanding of Activities, broadcasts, services, fragments, AsyncTask, SQLite database
Strong app framework knowledge on android with Activity manager, window manager, content provider, view system, package manager, telephony manager, notification manager, resource manager, location manager
Hands on experience on memory management
Data structures, Heap, Stack, GC etc
Knowledge on Thread/Async tasks is must
Experience on social networking SDK and FTP/SFTP services
