    Registered Nurses (RN) Position Details:

    Type: 13 weeks contract, floating is required.

    Shift Start Time: Day 4x10-Hours

    Call requirement: Three weeknight call shifts 11p-7a and three-weekend call shifts 7:00 a.m.-7 p.m. or 7 p.m.-7 a.m., per 6-week schedule
    Location: Seattle, WA

    As an Operating Room RN with expertise in various surgical specialties, your responsibilities will include:

    • Preparing the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready.
    • Assisting the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, monitoring vital signs, and providing a sterile environment.
    • Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.
    • Administering medications, including anesthesia, as directed by the anesthesia provider.
    • Documenting all aspects of patient care, including surgical procedures and patient outcomes.
    • Maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to infection control protocols.
    • Providing emotional support to patients and their families before and after surgery.
    • Administer medication, operate medical equipment, and maintain a safe environment.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Colorectal Surgery, Podiatry, ENT, Dental, Peds, Plastics, Maxillofacial, Gynecology, Thoracic, Bariatric, Pulmonary, Urology, Vascular, Endovascular / Hybrid, Transplant (Liver, Kidney)
      Must have Robotics, Vascular, and Plastics experience. NO EXCEPTIONS.
    • Active Washington State RN License.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
    • Two professional references are required. Charge RNs are accepted.
    • Skills: Med Line and Wound Vac Experience
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Years of experience Required: 1 year
    • Ability to work well in a fast-paced Hospital environment.
    • Successfully complete and pass a background check and drug test.
