    Description

    Job Title: Carpenter Apprentice

    Carpenter Apprentices will assist in building and repairing retail display fixtures. This role is ideal for former vocational students with a focus on carpentry or entry-level carpenters with relevant work experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with building wooden retail display fixtures
    • Assist with repairing damaged fixtures
    • Prepare and stage fixtures for golf events
    • Support plant maintenance when involving construction tasks
    • Help with PGA Show preparation
    • Learn and apply carpentry skills under guidance of experienced professionals

    Requirements:

    • Aptitude to build from sketches/blueprints
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines
    • Excellent verbal communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Must possess initiative, energy and drive
    • Ability to multi-task under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
    • Ability to maintain a safe work environment
    • Understanding of Woodworking shop safety
    • Basic familiarity with hand tools and machinery

    Working Conditions:

    • Exposure to loud noise levels
    • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
    • Exposure to extreme cold or heat
    • Exposure to moving mechanical parts

    Salary:

    $45,000 - $55,000 per year
