    Job Purpose

    The Deskside Support Specialist provides a single point of contact for end-users to receive support and maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment.

    This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC and Laptop hardware/equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.

    Troubleshoots problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion and provides end-user assistance where required.


    Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities


    • Basic troubleshooting of software & hardware
    • Deploy & retire hardware
    • Carry out assigned project tasks
    • Utilize asset report data to remediate reporting issues
    • Other duties as assigned
    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


    • Mac OS and iOS
    • Verbal Communication
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Written Communication
    • Laptop, Desktop and Printer Hardware
    • Ability to document time spent
    • Microsoft Windows 7 and up
    • Follow written procedure
    • Basic DOS commands
    • Follow verbal instruction
    • Ability to lift 50lbs
    • Basic understanding of virtual environments
    • Work both independently and part of a team
    • Customer Oriented
    Education and Experience

    High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
