Job summary
The Serenity Center is a Peer-run recovery support center designed to assist individuals in navigating their personal recovery journey.Greet clients with unconditional positive regard and develop a trusting working alliance.
Evaluate client needs and contribute to the development of a person-centered recovery plan.
- Assist clients to access food clothing personal hygiene products survival items behavioral health resources recovery resources emergency shelter resources benefits entitlements applications for SSI SSDI TDI etc housing resources including applications for apartments subsidized housing universal wait list etc education employment resources family supports medical providers resolution of legal barriers Conduct care coordination with other providers Willing to run recovery groups including those intended for individuals belonging to specialty populations women LGBTQ+ veterans BIPOC formerly incarcerated
