- Conducting comprehensive assessments for students who are referred for speech and language evaluations in school settings.
- Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services.
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans and interventions to improve student's communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate strategies and accommodations to support students' speech and language needs.
- Administering a variety of standardized assessments to identify communication or language disorders.
- Providing feedback and recommendations to parents and teachers about the results of the assessments.
- Collaborating with other members of the education team, including teachers, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of assessments.
- Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Texas state license speech-language pathology.
- ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) Certification.
- Experience working in school settings and conducting assessments is preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
