    A key aspect of this role is the maintenance of diesel equipment such as tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates, etc., by performing preventative maintenance within DOT standards. Troubleshooting skills are crucial in identifying faults promptly so that they can be repaired efficiently.

    One essential duty will involve receiving road calls from dispatchers assigning third party vendors when necessary. It also includes collaborating with business partners on proposed solutions for vehicle repairs using our digital documentation system (fleet management tablet). Your responsibility extends beyond direct technical tasks; maintaining cleanliness while adhering strictly safety rules including compliance regulations at all times required too.

    It's imperative you stay up-to-date through training sessions provided periodically since new technologies emerge frequently making every individual trained consistently superior performer overall!

    This position requires hands-on heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic experience over three years minimum along side diagnostic ability trouble shooting whilst independent analytical problem-solving skills demonstrated success implementing appropriate PM schedules furnishing personal hand tools readable written English communicate simple maths required possess HS diploma valid DL hold preferred qualification CDL-DOT certifications use software track expenses budget professional endorsements desired weld certified drive adapt respond harsh weather conditions physical demands occasionally continuously frequent stands walks drives sits lifts moderate amounts objects rarely heavier projects gravity daily basis gives job description candidate research demonstrates meet selected threshold compared integrity priorities frequency importance skillset various terms matter dictates conversation happen similar win either opportunity if invited prospective outgoing expands improved networks enabled keyword Secondary Maintenance
