    Our SaaS client is in search of a proactive and outcome-focused Director, Government and Public Health, to lead their initiatives in securing clients and managing relationships within the government sector, including the VA, HHS, Public Health Labs, and similar organizations.

    As a crucial figure in our team, you will be responsible for pinpointing client challenges, crafting effective solutions, and building trust through your consultative approach and technical proficiency. Your leadership will be pivotal in shaping our business strategies and promoting the integration of innovative digital technologies.

    responsibilities:
    Job Duties:

    • Spearhead proactive prospecting and account development strategies, prioritizing key government accounts to expand market share and unlock new business opportunities.

    • Conduct comprehensive commercial intelligence, research, and prospecting activities, utilizing technical expertise to comprehend client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.

    • Deliver compelling presentations of our solutions, conduct technical visits to understand client pain points, and devise personalized strategies for success.

    • Coordinate technical demonstrations and proofs of concept, crafting and presenting technical and commercial proposals aligned with client objectives.

    • Manage pre-sales and sales processes, including responding to RFI, RFP, and technical questionnaires, while maintaining accurate records in our CRM system.

    • Proactively pursue sales targets, driving quarterly results, and stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements.

    • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders from departments like marketing, technical support, finance, and product development to ensure seamless solution delivery and meet client expectations.

    • Support marketing initiatives by generating content, participating in events, and actively managing client accounts through case studies, testimonials, and articles.

    • Mentor and train junior team members to foster their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

    • Flexibility for remote work with occasional travel to strategic and training meetings worldwide.
    Qualifications:
    • 5 to 10 years of experience in sales of LIMS, LIS, ELN, and related systems, emphasizing technical sales for clinical LIS and complex patient reporting.

    • Proficiency in sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman, Solution Selling, or Spin Selling, along with solid knowledge of digital systems, automation, and emerging technologies.

    • Behavioral profile characterized by fast-paced decision-making, competitiveness, and a drive to overcome challenges while maintaining control and direction.
