**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking a talented **Civil Engineer -Transit & Rail** to join our **World Class Rail** **Team** in **Boston, MA** . Here you will serve as technical resource and will be part of a multidisciplinary team required to deliver complicated passenger rail and transit facilities, including bus, track, systems, structures, tunnels, stations, and potentially maintenance and storage facilities and/or capacity expansion. **Responsibilities & typical duties;**
+ Will provide specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
+ Will develop study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
+ Will participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
+ Will develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
+ Will use expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
+ Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings. prepare technical specification sections.
+ Will provide input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**
+ BA/BS + 6 years in Civil Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of experience and /or education.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ PE or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of start.
