    Job Opportunity: Facility Inventory Coordinator

    We are currently seeking a Property Manager/Facility Inventory Coordinator to oversee inventory operations and ensure compliance with asset management procedures at HSCS. Responsibilities include managing property and fixed assets, coordinating office moves, and maintaining inventory levels.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Manage all numbered property and fixed assets at the facility
    • Coordinate office/building moves
    • Coordinate warehouse operations in line with HHSC policy
    • Order and deliver furniture and equipment as needed
    • Receive and manage inventory deliveries
    • Coordinate inventory moves without disruptions
    • Conduct training on inventory procedures and equipment use
    • Perform annual physical inventory checks
    • Record property transactions in the CAPPS Financial system
    • Handle disposal of surplus property
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Knowledge of inventory record keeping
    • Customer service skills
    • Understanding of standard business practices
    • Ability to use computer software
    • Effective communication skills
    • Capacity to lift heavy objects
    • Operation of motor vehicles and basic tools
