Job summary
We are seeking an experiencedIn-depth knowledge of Workers' Compensation claims handling process,
a minimum of two years experience in managing Indemnity claims,
serving as liaison between injured workers and insurance professionals.
Responsibilities
Promptly and thoroughly investigate newly reported work-related injuries to determine compensability.Maintain accurate, current records for each claim and ensures claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct.
Maintain appropriate levels of communication with all parties involved.
< Responsibilities Continued Manage all key components (including medical, indemnity, legal) of each claim to ensure optimum handling and best possible solution. Coordinate settlement negotiations. Refers cases as appropriate to supervisor and management. Assist with bill/invoice review (review, reconciliation, submittal). Preparing comprehensive reports and delivering presentations to senior claim leadership on claim developments
A ssist WC Program with mentoring/training other Injury Counselors as necessary.
