- Assess, diagnose, implement, and evaluate treatment plans for respiratory care.
- Manage critical airway/life-sustaining situations and provide necessary support.
- Collaborate with specialists to optimize oxygenation and ventilation.
- Assist in diagnostic and interventional bronchoscopy procedures.
- Administer respiratory therapies, monitor patient progress, and recommend adjustments.
- Design home exercise programs and educate patients and caregivers.
- Support patient discharge planning.
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy or Related Field (Required)
- Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Therapy or Related Field (Preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (Preferred)
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license with NBRC and Virginia Department of Health Professions (Required)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC (Required)
- CPR/BLS Certification with AHA/ARC/AHA (Required)
- ACLS Provider with AHA/ARC/AHA (Required)
- PALS Provider with AHA/ARC/AHA (Preferred)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) with American Academy of Pediatrics (Preferred)
- RHS Advanced Airway Management (AAM) Competency Validation (Required)
