    Manufacturing Engineer

    Job Summary:
    The Manufacturing Engineer will play a vital role in our company's growth and the development of our product offerings.

    In short, we are looking for someone who can identify, implement, and maintain company-wide improvements targeting safety, quality, cost reduction, and efficiency within our internal and outsourced manufacturing processes.

    A successful Manufacturing Engineer is self-motivated, driven, collaborative, flexible, and eager to learn.

    This individual must have an instinctive ability to identify waste within manufacturing processes, develop multiple solutions following lean principles, drive process changes working directly with the production team, and iterate the solution until all goals are met.

    Primary Functions:
    Regularly audit processes in terms of safety, quality, cost reduction, and efficiency.
    Identify and report improvement activities with measurable goals in one (or more) of the categories mentioned above.
    Test all improvement activities and iterate until a solution is developed that meets full production requirements.
    Develop all necessary work instructions and quality documents for seamless handoff to production when process changes occur.

    Collaborate with the design engineering team to ensure all product drawings reflect appropriate information to accurately (and repeatedly) manufacture high quality components and assemblies.

    Actively research new and alternative methods of manufacturing, processing, and assembly.
    Design and develop fixturing solutions for assembly, machining, manual welding and robotic welding applications.
    Design and develop stationary racks, wheeled racks, pallets, internal part conveyance solutions, over-the-road conveyance solutions.
    Develop and maintain CNC, Robot, and PLC programs.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from ABET accredited program.

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Engineering role with experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Machining, Fabrication, Welding, Coating (Paint, Powder, E-Coat, etc.) or Assembly.

    Knowledge of basic metallurgy, GD&T, and measuring methods.
    Proficient in PLC programming.
    Proficient in design/troubleshooting automation equipment.
    Proficient in industrial robot programming and tooling design/selection.
    Robotic Welding Experience (Preferred)

    Proficient in 2D & 3D CAD packages (Preferred:
    AutoCAD, Solidworks)
    Ability to read, construct, and convey machine blueprints.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    Organized and detail-oriented.
    Strong mathematical skills, ability to understand mechanical properties.
    Ability to use hand tools, power tools, program and operate machines and weld/fabricate.


    Requirements:
    Work on-site in Greenville, KY (40 hour minimum per week: 5x8 4x10 Hour Shifts)
    On-site in Indianapolis, IN may be considered.
    Ability to travel for multiple times per year. (Up to 10% annually)
    Must have a valid driver's license and passport.


    Pay:
    From $70,000.00 per year
