    This position is responsible for creating and driving a strategic growth plan to rebuild machines & components in both CI (construction industries) and RI (resource industries).Excellent communication and reporting capabilities will be critical as responsibilities include updates to the leadership team, interfacing with customers, and serving as primary point of contact to Caterpillar for rebuild growth strategy.The individual will be responsible for educating the product support team & customers on the features and benefits of machine and component rebuilds vs replacement when applicable.The Rebuild Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining a database of machine rebuilds and options for sales representatives to present to customers.

    Pay Rate:$79,500.00 Base Salary + Commission
    Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience.

    Essential Functions:

    • Forecast, Schedule & Track Rebuilds through all the branch locations.
    • Work with parts and service operations to provide accurate timelines that can be communicated externally.
    • Frequently update internal and external customers throughout the rebuild process to increase satisfaction.
    • Follow up after rebuild completion to enhance the customer experience & drive repeat business.
    • Ensure EPP (Warranty) start date and additional information is correctly entered to manage warranty.
    • Work with PSSR team to quote rebuilds in PSQ and drive standardization across product support sales teams in CO, NM & West Texas.
    • Ensure rebuild strategy enhancements and programs via Caterpillar are applied/utilized correctly.
    • Package quotes for delivery to customers to maximize win rates.
    • Manage quote database/templates with options for accuracy and efficiency.
    • Sales funnel management - Partner with PSSR's to identify target rebuild opportunities and build quotes.
    • Support lead generation & closing of rebuild Prioritized Service Events (PSEs).
    • Identify and quantify resources (people/parts) required to meet targets outlined in the strategic growth plan.
    • Partner with service personnel to increase estimate to actual invoice accuracy & drive efficiency where possible in each branch location.
    • Assist Product Support Representatives in quoting machine rebuilds and presenting to customers.
    • Responds to customer and PSSR requests in a timely manner.
    • Trusted advisor amount PSSR's and customer equipment lifecycle decision making.
    • Clearly understand customer product support needs and communicate a defined scope of work.
    • Understanding of the competitive machine product line (new price vs. rebuild)
    • Ability to travel overnight, territory wide. Minimum 50%.
    • Drive marketing materials (digital/paper/events) for rebuilds in parallel with the marketing team.
    • Expertise across the entire caterpillar machine product line (wheel and track type).
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate mechanical aptitude.
    • Ability to analyze sales performance (STU & Revenue) via analytic dashboards to monitor sales.
    • Other duties as assigned by manager
    Required Education and Experience:
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • College degree preferred
    • 3+ Years in account management experience, OEM experience preferred.
    • 5+ years practical experience in related field, Caterpillar experience preferred.
    • 3-5 years administrative/clerical experience
    • 3-5 years customer service experience
    • 3-5 years sales experience
    • 3-5 years technical/mechanical experience
    Additional Eligibility Requirements:
    • Valid Driver's License
