    ARMStaffing is actively seeking experienced and highly skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurses for nationwide travel assignments at leading healthcare facilities.     Job Description:


    As a Travel CVOR RN, you will play a critical role in assisting with complex cardiac surgeries, including open-heart procedures, vascular surgeries, and other cardiovascular interventions. You'll work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure a sterile, efficient, and safe operating environment from pre-op through post-op transition.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with the preparation and care of patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures

    • Scrub and circulate during open-heart and vascular surgeries

    • Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and surgical protocols

    • Monitor patient status intraoperatively and support the surgical team with instruments and supplies

    • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with hospital standards

    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and post-op recovery

    Requirements:

    • Active RN license (Compact license preferred)

    • BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR or CVOR certifications preferred

    • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a CVOR or high-acuity OR setting

    • Proficient in scrub and circulate roles specific to cardiac and vascular surgeries

    • Strong critical thinking and surgical anticipation skills in high-pressure environments
