    Data Architect

    Onsite/Hybrid – Milpitas, CA or Austin, TX (local preferred but non-locals who are 100% ready to go onsite day1 also can be submitted)


    Must Have:
    Salesforce Migration, master data management(MDM) ,data governance,data security AND data quality


    Responsibilities:

    • Participate actively in requirement gathering, discovery and design phase
    • Produced detailed document artifacts and maintain them through the project lifetime
    • Defining overall migration strategy
    • Make architectural decisions
    • Develop, maintain and review data migration design for cloud-based data systems.
    • Help team with data modeling and suggest design improvements
    • Identify and assess risks and propose mitigation plan
    • Cut-over strategies
    • Evaluate different source systems to determine how to best move data from one system to nother system (mainly Salesforce). Should have experience working with large volumes of data and methodology to process it concurrently
    • Demonstrate ability to learn and research advanced data technologies and concepts, learning new skills and software as necessary
    • Guide team on best practice standards and protocols for migration of data
    • Establish testing procedures to ensure that the migrated data is accurate and consistent with client specifications
    • Provide support for the data migration process to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently

    Required:

    • 5+ years of relevant work experience as a lead or architect and overall 10+ years of experience in data migration
    • Hands-on experience in data engineering projects such as writing complex SQL queries, data pipelining, and Salesforce data migration
    • Possess a client-focused attitude through conversations and documentation
    • Demonstrate deep data integration and/or migration experience with and other cloud-enabled tools
    • Experience with master data management, data governance, data security, data quality and related tools desired
    • Demonstrate experience with complex coding through any ETL tool
    • Hands on experience with any ETL tool
    • Experience with complex SQL scripting
    • Extensive experience on transformation processes including Data mapping, Data Deduplication, Data profiling, Data extraction, and Data cleansing.
    • Experience with Salesforce platform or other CRM applications
    • Functional knowledge of Salesforce data model
    • Experience in migrating data to Salesforce CRM
    • Experience with data modeling, data integration and reporting
    • Hands-on ability to set up reporting tools and build reports and ad hoc functionality
    • Experience on building cut-over strategies
    • Coordinate management activities with others on the team
    • Strong written and spoken communication skills
    • Data Architect and Salesforce certification is an added advantage
