GVI, Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an experienced Configuration Management Specialist III
specializing in Records Management (RM) and Data Management (DM) .
Duties and Responsibilities:
Planandorganizerecordsto include records maintenance and use, and recommend records disposition for the life cycle of such records.
Develop a
Standard
Operating Procedure (SOP) for maintaining quality control of data submitted.
Perform data
center operations for technical data and documentation requiring configuration control.
Review, maintain, file and store technical documentation that impacts the operation, configuration, and maintenance of configured items (CIs).
Catalog, track, account, and respond to reproduction and distribution requests for technical data and documentation.
A
rchive all cover letters and all incoming and outgoing correspondence and messages.
Transform
full size hardcopy
drawings and documents or microfilm aperture cards to electronic media for storage, retrieval, revision, re- identification,
distribution, archiving and maintain
all
Casualty
Reporting (CASREP) files and actions.
Provide
hotline services to receive and respond to fleet requests for assistance.
Hotline services involve resolving technical problems, receiving and routing message traffic and phone calls to appropriate points of contact, and referring requests for assistance to other activities.
Education and Experience:
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
SECRET (interim or final) security clearance
Bachelor of Science Degree
10 years professional experience in configuration management.
Experience maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management.
