Technology Support Tech III - IT Customer Service and Support

About the Job:
Are you an experienced IT professional looking for a challenging role in technology support? We are currently seeking a Technology Support Tech III to join our team at the Instructional Support Center. This position involves providing on-site support to schools, troubleshooting technology issues, and supporting local school programs through technical assistance. Position Type:

Location:
- Instructional Support Center

Salary:
- Minimum: $46,030.00/Annually
- Maximum: $73,821.00/Annually

Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia driver's license required
- Industry standard certifications related to desktop/laptop (OS, HW, SW) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Five years of experience in LAN/WAN environment required

Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support to schools for technology-related issues
- Assist with the implementation of technology at local schools
- Collaborate with school administration on technology initiatives
- Document and escalate technology problems as needed
- Assist in staff development and training in technology use
- Ensure devices are ready for online testing
- Perform other assigned duties

Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technology issues
- Excellent time management and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of various hardware and software applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands:
- The employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate a motor vehicle.
