    Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Prestonsburg, KY

    Required Skills:
    • Valid and active medical license in Kentucky or eligible for licensure
    • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
    • Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care, including managing labor and delivery
    • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
    • Ability to handle high-acuity obstetric cases confidently
    Nice to Have Skills:
    • Experience working with NICU Level 2 environments
    • Familiarity with remote outpatient obstetric care or telemedicine
    • Previous locum or temporary physician experience
    • Knowledge of hospital emergency response protocols
    Preferred Education and Experience:
    • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
    • Completion of an OB/GYN residency program
    • At least 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology, including hospitalist roles
    Other Requirements:
    • Availability to start on or around December 31, 2025
    • Willingness to provide coverage for unassigned and private patients
    • Ability to work with hospital-employed OBs and support staff
    • Must comply with all facility-specific policies and hospital credentialing requirements
