    ICU travel nurses
    Requirements
    Minimum

    2 years ICU experience
    Previous travel experience –
    REQUIRED
    Comfortable with high-acuity ICU patients
    Teaching or community hospital experience preferred
    Ability to float as needed

    Weekend rotation:
    Every other weekend
    Certifications
    BLS – Required
    ACLS – Required
    NIHSS – Preferred
    TNCC – Preferred
    Key Skills & Experience
    Cardiac monitoring & dysrhythmia management
    Multisystem organ failure management
    Ventilator & respiratory support (BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC)
    ABG interpretation & suctioning
    Titration of cardiac & vasoactive drips
    Continuous IV & procedural sedation
    Central lines, PICCs, arterial lines
    Blood product administration
    Stroke/CVA management
    IV insulin protocols
    Epic computerized charting
    Unit & Facility Details
    10-bed ICU

    | Daily census ~8


    • Adult & geriatric population

    Strong support:
    RT, PT, Pharmacy, Rapid Response, Radiology, Social Services


    Orientation:
    24 hours
