    Job Description:

    GDIT is seeking an ambitious and energetic
    Executive Assistant to help support our DoD CIO Enterprise Portfolio Support Services (EPSS) contract at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.


    As an Executive Assistant, you will provide administrative support within the Department of Defense Chief Information Officer's (DoD CIO) Deputy CIO for Resource and Analysis (DCIO RA) organization in their mission to enable manage the DoD's information technology spending and ensure that the Warfighter has the tools to do the mission in a fiscally responsible manner.

    You will provide comprehensive support services for daily operations and administration functions including:


    • Action suspense tracking
    • Workload prioritization
    • Calendar maintenance
    • Communication, correspondence, and distribution services
    • Reporting
    • Procurement of administrative supplies
    • Property administration
    • Security management
    • Administration of forms, graphics, printing, and word processing
    • Records management
    • Travel and transportation support (Defense Travel System)
    • Directives
    • Training

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED -
    REQUIRED:



    • Citizenship :
    US Citizen



    • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI

    • Education :

    Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline OR the equivalent combination of education; technical certifications or training; or work experience.



    • Years Experience :

    Minimum 10 years' experience with providing administrative and executive assistance to senior leadership or a minimum of 14 years' experience with High School diploma.


    Technical Skills:
    Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint


    Skills & Abilities: Administrative, organizational, and time management skills; email, calendar, and travel management; excellent interpersonal skills including experience supporting and interacting with DoD senior leadership; attention to detail.


    Location :
    Report onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.


    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED -
    DESIRED:


    Skills & Abilities :

    Ability to provide on-site support, with potential for telework depending on client on-site requirements

    Expert level knowledge and execution of the English language for the formulation of all DoD correspondence mediums, (e.g, email and memos)

    Demonstrated experience supporting in an Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)/Joint Staff/Interagency environment

    Knowledge of the structure and missions of the OSD and the Components

    Energetic and the capability to work in a fast-paced team environment, adapt to rapidly changing requirements, and multi-task capabilities


    Technical Skills:
    Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Teams

    Generating and submitting travel orders and voucher via the Defense Travel System (DTS)

    Tracking actions and taskers in the DoD Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) and/or Task Management Tool (TMT)

    Secure Video Teleconference (SVTC) coordination

    DoD records management

    Coordination of new employee onboarding

    Familiarity with DCIO RA programs and initiatives
