    Job Summary:


    This role primarily involves developing and maintaining the Data Protection Business Intelligence (DPBI) tool, along with implementing advanced reporting, analytics, and dashboards using Cognos Analytics.

    Additionally, responsibilities include designing and automating ETL processes, integrating new data feeds, and utilizing Python for data analysis and automation tasks.

    Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and ensuring data accuracy and integrity are also essential aspects of the role.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Development and Implementation:
    Maintain and enhance the DPBI tool.
    Develop and maintain advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and BI solutions using Cognos Analytics.
    Design, implement, and automate ETL processes from various sources, including databases, CSV files, and Splunk.
    Integrate new data feeds into the DPBI tool to enhance reporting capabilities.
    Utilize Python for data analysis, modeling, automation, and integration activities.
    Write and maintain scripts in Python and PowerShell for automating data processing and supporting data protection-related tasks.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
    Implement quality controls and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
    Stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies in data science, machine learning, analytics, and data protection.
    Contribute to the development of best practices for data management, governance, analytics, and data protection.

    Information Security and Security Products:
    Assist in evaluating and implementing products and procedures to enhance security.
    Review requests for new systems or changes and evaluate their impact on security.
    Deploy and monitor additional security products and tools.
    Monitor daily reports to ensure the effectiveness of security technology.

    Position Scope:
    The position involves providing both quantitative and qualitative contributions to the organization. It does not directly involve revenue generation but may have expense management responsibilities. The level of organizational accountability ranges from department to individual job level.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    This position does not directly supervise staff but may indirectly oversee a low to medium number of employees.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
    Proficiency in networking and system administration.
    Experience in developing solutions in a Windows environment and for Microsoft products.
    Experience in developing, implementing, and managing data warehouse solutions.

    Platforms:
    Windows environment, Exchange, Office365,

    Experience with data analytics technologies as well as analytical and dimensional modeling
