Robert Williamson, Connections Health Solutions brings 30 years of experience serving individuals in crisis and operates two of the nation's largest and most studied crisis response centers and is currently expanding to more states.
Since opening our doors we have provided care and treatment for hundreds of thousands of individuals in crisis.Responsibilities:
What You'll Do:
This position oversees the operation, organization, and flow of recipients through the unit; including but not limited to delegating nursing assignments, overseeing admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Assists with training and orientation of new staff and oversee assigned duties of staff and documentation to meet JCAHO and OMFL standards.
RN responsibilities are met and abide by company policy. Performs all essential functions of a Registered Nurse as needed.Assists Nurse Manager and/or Director of Nursing with the implementation of new policies/procedures and collection of necessary data for reporting (Infection Control, incidents/Medication Errors, Injuries, and Staffing issues).
Actively assesses work area for non-compliance issues and notifies Nurse Manager and/or Director of Nursing of identified concerns.Monitors the observation, inpatient unit, and the lobby area to coordinate care and safety issues with the Lead BHS. Collaborates with other members of the Multidisciplinary team to keep a smooth flow of admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Ensures coverage for an RN/LPN call-offs for the oncoming shift. Reports lack of coverage to Nurse Manager. Ensures all Nursing staff on their shift remain in compliance with required trainings.
Utilizes de-escalation procedures and theories to assist in providing a safe milieu. Utilizes skills effectively to describe and demonstrate roles and responsibilities relative to safety. Review seclusion/restraint packet and assist with their corrections.
Completes reviews and audits of staff documentation to determine compliance with JCHAO and OMFL standards.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
What You'll Bring:
Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program
At least 3-5 years of psychiatric, behavioral health, or relevant experience.
At least 1-2 years of managerial experience
Unrestricted license as Registered Nurse through the Washington State Board of Nursing or hold a multistate licensure privilege.
American Heart Association BLS
It would be great if you had:
Previous emergency room or crisis psychiatric care experience
Familiarity with Court Ordered Treatment process.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
