    Primary Responsibilities:


    These positions will provide support to the AIRWorks Special Projects Execution & Advanced Rapid Integration (SPEAR) Portfolio Manager and Integrated Product Team Lead, actively managing an Integrated Project Team as the Project Lead (PL).

    Responsible for supporting the AIRWorks Portfolio Managers in establishing and controlling project cost, schedule and performance of the project as defined in the rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost estimates and Project Execution Strategies (PES) being offered customers for coordination by the AWX organization.

    Additionally, manage, execute, and tax the project under PM guidance.


    Tasks Performed:

    Demonstrated Knowledge:


    The candidate will work as the PL for MTUAS Mi2 to integrate all of the PES requirements into a new UAS platform.

    Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:


    Provide support to team leadership in developing the acquisition and procurement documentation in the form translating technical requirements into required statements of work (SOWs), contract data requirements listing deliverables (CDRLs), acquisition strategy or plans, Program Execution strategies (PES), etc.

    Support all project cost schedule and performance responsibilities.
    Support the Portfolio Manager in responding to the SOCOM Customer concerning all project requirements, activities, tasking, and manpower.
    Organizing and manage all functional areas of the project that includes programmatic, engineering, test & evaluation logistics and financial.
    When necessary, brief project leadership at SOCOM and NSW.
    Provide team leadership and direction to the Project Team to integrate all mission system and sub-components.
    Manage and resolve airworthiness certification and flight clearance issues.
    Manage and resolve maintenance and sustainment issues.
    Prepare the team and system to complete DT and support Operational Test.


    Education/Experience:

    JOURNEYMAN:

    A Journeyman level person within a labor category has 3 to 10 years of experience related to the functional duties for that labor category and a BA/BS degree.


    Allowable Education/ Experience Substitutions:
    Six (6) years additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. Associate's Degree plus four (4) years additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.


    SENIOR:

    A Senior level person within a labor category has over 10 years of experience related to the functional duties for that labor category and a MA/MS degree.


    Allowable Education/ Experience Substitutions:
    Ten (10) years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a Master's degree. Associate's degree plus eight (8) years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree. Bachelor's Degree plus four (4) years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a master's degree.


    Desired Experience:
    Familiarity with NAVAIR SETR events.
    Ability to communicate and adapt well in dynamic team environments.
    Strong organizational skills.
    Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


    Security Clearance Required:
    Secret Clearance.

    Estimated Travel: 15-25%
