    Summary of Responsibility


    The Software Engineer will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our projects and aligning and innovating our products, offerings, and engineering technologies. This position is ideal for a hands‑on person who can enable our engineering team to succeed and responsibly deliver high-quality software solutions. You will be one of the key engineers in our team located in Poland. Your role will involve not only hands‑on development but also influencing aligning initiatives, delivering high‑impact solutions and building robust solutions with high quality.

    Hybrid / Remote - Anywhere within Krakow, Poland. B2B option for this role. Finalsite is a global company and to enable strong collaboration, we have established common core working hours. Candidates should be comfortable working from 11:00-19:00 CEST, with core working hours being 16:00-19:00 CEST

    Key Responsibilities

    • Cross-Team Leadership: Drive alignment and collaboration across different engineering teams and geographical locations. Influence project direction and ensure synchronization of efforts towards common goals.
    • Technical Mastery: Utilize your extensive knowledge in and Front-End Full-Stack development to lead by example. Innovate and implement advanced solutions in specialized areas of our technology stack. Hands‑on experience in cloud computing (preferred experience in GCP) and Kubernetes (services like EKS, GKS). Having knowledge about DevOps, IaC and Security concepts will be an added advantage.
    • Project Delivery: Commit to and consistently deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations. Ensure timely execution while maintaining high standards of quality.
    • Influential Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers across teams to align all to deliver the business goals as per effective architecture and the right technical solution.
    • Strategic Problem-Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges with innovative approaches. Leverage strong problem-solving skills to navigate and resolve issues effectively.
    • Collaborative Excellence: Work seamlessly with cross-functional and cross-geographical teams, demonstrating exceptional collaboration skills.

    Requirements

    • Strong tech. proficiency, architecture, and technology leadership skills are highly desirable (must have experience)
    • Proven ability to influence and drive projects across different teams and locations.
    • Demonstrated experience as a strong individual contributor with a track record of delivering results.
    • Excellence in leading technical discussions and decision-making processes.
    • Hands‑on experience in handling cloud computing (ideal GCP, nice to have AWS).
    • Hands‑on experience in serverless architectures.
    • Good understanding of DevOps, DevSecOps tools and concepts.
    • Demonstrated expertise in software development methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe
