    Job Title:

    CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Operating Room

    Contract Length:
    13 weeks


    Schedule:
    6:45am – 7:15pm, 3x12 hour shifts, Monday–Friday


    On-Call:
    1–2 nights per week, 1 weekend per month


    Weekly Hours:
    36


    Weekly Pay Rate:
    $32.70/hr + $1323/wk stipend = $2500/wk gross @ 36 hrs

    Local:
    $64/hr - $2304/wk gross @ 36 hrs

    CVOR RN Qualifications

    Active Pennsylvania RN license (Registered Nurse)

    Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiovascular Operating Room (
    CVOR) nursing experience

    BLS certification (AHA required)

    Strong knowledge of thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, pediatric OR/PACU, and sub-acute care

    Excellent communication and teamwork skills for clinical support

    Ability to participate in on-call rotation and weekend shifts


    CVOR Nurse Responsibilities

    Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures

    Assist surgeons and anesthesia teams in complex cardiovascular surgeries

    Monitor patient status, respond promptly to changes in condition, and provide critical care support

    Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital protocols

    Participate in scheduled on-call shifts and weekend coverage

    Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
