Job summary
The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is seeking a full-time Events Coordinator to join our staff at the DAR Headquarters building in Washington, DC.The incumbent will serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors and internal resources to ensure a smooth execution of external event rentals This will include reviewing all event details including timeframes floor plans and compliance with our regulations.
We provide venue rental opportunities for a wide range of events from weddings to lectures to filmings and we require an individual with event management skills who can work with varied clientele and is adaptable to changing needs.
This would be an ideal position for someone looking to expand their event management expertise particularly gaining experience working within historic venues.
- Serve as the main client point of contact following contracting.
- Provide proactive communication solutions for client needs last-minute adjustments.
