School Psychologist Needed

They are ideally seeking a candidate that is already licensed in the state of CAthat could adjust seamlessly into this role and begin the position soon.

The selected candidate will be hired on as a full time contracted employee through ProCare Therapy. A school year contract will be awarded for you to complete. Job Description

This is a full time, school-based position; part time candidates will also be considered.
You will provide direct mental health counseling services to targeted individual students and student groups.
You will serve as a resource for general and special education staff to promote and implement academic and behavioral supports.
You will assist IEP teams with the development and implementation of IEPs.
You will document services provided and monitor student progress.
You will write behavior plans in conjunction with other pertinent team members (e.g., education staff and parents) and assist with behavior interventions when deemed appropriate.
You will lead the Functional Behavior Assessment process in assigned buildings.
You will lead the threat assessment process in assigned buildings.
You will provide MTSS and RTI leadership and support in assigned buildings; participate in school district MTSS and RTI teams and assist with the facilitation and documentation of research-based methods for academic and behavioral supports.

Job Requirements

Master's in School Psychology isrequired
School Psychologist License in CA
PPS
Must be able to pass a drug and background check

Interview Process

10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with school district
Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
