Job summary
Seeking a Board-Certified Primary Care Physician to deliver comprehensive medical care in a Sacramento correctional facility.Provide full-scope primary care including episodic chronic dermatology preventive and in-office procedures Manage urgent/emergent cases such as trauma chest pain asthma overdoses intake withdrawal protocols Offer ongoing treatment for chronic illnesses like diabetes hypertension HIV respiratory conditions following national guidelines
Qualifications include an unrestricted California MD/DO license board certification in Family Medicine Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine completed residency current CEUs Prior correctional urgent care or ER experience is preferred
This role offers $185/hour with flexible full-time or per diem options Professional liability insurance is provided at no cost A $1 500 referral bonus applies for physicians who complete weeks on assignment
