Job summary

The Franklin County Municipal Court Clerk of Court's Office serves as the legal guardian and keeper of all official records of the Franklin County Municipal Court including criminal and civil case filings.

A Clerk is responsible for accurate and timely processing of court records filed within the Franklin County Municipal Court. They provide information to public law enforcement personnel attorneys court personnel about bail fine schedule amounts fine cost information based on assigned division they organize file various court documents. The primary daily responsibilities include locating case files filing jury or record demands offering professional accurate explanations inquiries regarding charges date time courtroom defendant appears initiating complaints into CourtView.

This position requires high school diploma GED two years experience in clerical role which includes filing excellent customer service well organized computer software experience work full-time with required weekend hours.
