Job description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: AP/AR Coordinator I will support the Accounting team including Accounting Associates, Staff Accountant, Accounting Manager and CFO.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Basic Accounts Receivable
  • Basic Accounts Payable 
  • Assist with incoming calls, emails, and Dynamics cases from dealers
  • Process purchase orders
  • Research dealer/customer accounts for errors and issue credits
  • Allocate dealer/customer payments
  • Process manual dealer/customer invoices and credits
  • Invoice coding and processing
  • Dealer/customer collections
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge:
  • Some experience with Accounting systems
  • Prior accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience 
  • Skills:
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Abilities: 
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to recognize process improvement opportunities where necessary

RELATIONSHIPS

  • Internal: 
  • Develops positive and productive relationships with all internal departments and field staff
  • Develops positive and productive relationships with UK teams
  • External
  • Encourages positive relationships with dealers and vendors

AUTHORITY

  • Authority to work independently and according to the scope of the role. Complex and financial decisions are limited by a consult and approval of management.

EDUCATION 

  • High School diploma

TRAINING

  • Triumph Academy
  • Internal systems training (Dynamics, Microsoft Office, AS400, SUN, Infor, LN etc.)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB

  • Ability to perform basic job duties in an office setting.
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, bending at the knee.
