As a Line of Business Risk Specialist Sr. within the Risk Program Management team you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion.

    This role will be responsible for performing the following activity:

    •Interface with regulators and examiners on the scope of exam activity.

    •Lead efforts to communicate exam requirements to all levels of management.

    •Manage working teams to gather exam deliverables within established time frames, as well as coordination of all exam logistics.

    •Establish close relationships with legal and compliance partners to address potential risk areas and ensure appropriate approval is obtained on exam deliverables.

    •Effectively communicate the status of exam activity to both bank regulators and all levels of management.

    •Monitor changes to laws, rules and regulations to determine impacts to Technology

    •Perform Regulatory Change Assessments on new laws to ensure compliance with requirements.

    •Coordinate the development and approval of management responses and remediation plans.

    •Ensure remediation plans appropriately address requirements and are completed within established time frames.

    Job Description
    • Executes the Line of Business Risk Management program, identifying opportunities for enhancement where applicable. Enables line of business adherence with risk management programs.
    • Participates in the design and development of the risk management program to meet business and regulatory expectations. Leads in the design and development of specific risk management program components.
    • Executes the risk management programs within or across the lines of business (e.g. - business self-assessment and quality reviews). May lead cross functional teams.
    • Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit).
    • Leads or influences risk initiatives and business as usual activities. Identifies risk, assesses impact and makes recommendations on resolution. Reports and escalates risk and program compliance as appropriate.

    Process Management - Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques and ability to understand, monitor, update, or enhance existing business or work processes.

    Regulatory Environment - Financial Services - Knowledge of and ability to help an organization adapt to applicable federal, state, local, and company-specific regulations, policies, and guidelines affecting business practices.

    Standard Operating Procedures - Knowledge of and ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency.

    Work Experience

    Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
