- The primary responsibilities are to help formulate individualized treatment plans and provide comprehensive psychological treatment services and provide individual, group, and family treatment services for juvenile offenders.
- Level I - Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Professional Counseling or related field with no experience.
- Level II - Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Professional Counseling or related field with 2 years of experience.
- Level III - Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Professional Counseling or related field with 4 years of experience.
- Master's degree in recognized mental health field with an emphasis in psychological treatment of adolescents.
- Experience with mental health issues with adolescents.

Job Summary
The College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University is looking to fill two (2) positions for Mental Health Specialists I, II, III to join our team. The individuals hired will be tasked with providing psychotherapy, including group and individual sessions, to juveniles who have been adjudicated for sex offenses. Additionally, responsibilities will include facilitating psychoeducational groups and conducting family therapy sessions.
This position will be located at Mt. Meigs, AL and is a one-year limited term appointment. Continuation of employment will be contingent upon availability of funding.
